Join us for a special summer evening at Mt Airy Lavender as we once again bring award-winning California wines from Luna Hart Wines to the farm.
Set against the peaceful backdrop of our lavender farm in beautiful Chester County, this engaging and intimate event invites you to sip, relax, and connect while enjoying exceptional wines from Santa Barbara County, California.
We’re especially excited to welcome home Gretchen Voelcker, owner and winemaker of Luna Hart Wines, who grew up right here on the Mt Airy Lavender farm and will be traveling from California to host this memorable evening.
Gretchen is also the Chief Winemaker for Piazza Family Wines and has earned recognition year after year from Wine Enthusiast for her thoughtfully crafted wines.
Throughout the evening, Gretchen will personally guide you through a tasting of 6 distinctive wines while guests enjoy an elegant charcuterie spread in the relaxed and beautiful setting of our lavender farm.
Learn what she looks for when selecting grapes, how she approaches each vintage, and why she believes great wines should reflect the beauty and terroir of the vineyards where they are grown. This is a unique opportunity to meet the winemaker herself, ask questions, and experience these wines in a warm and welcoming setting.
Weather permitting, the event will be held outdoors so guests can enjoy the beauty of the farm during a summer evening. In case of inclement weather, we’ll move into our charming restored barn.
Wine will also be available for purchase during the event.
